Excerpt from Ravynwyng Chronicles Volume 2: Discovery
Ravyn Wyng stared into the darkness as sleep eluded her. Her thoughts circled around the latest body she found in Hines Park; chest ruined by a gaping hole, throat slit, but little blood on the grass or nearby trees. She felt overwhelmed by the helplessness. Why won’t Lady Raven tell me what I’m supposed to be doing? It has to be more than finding the Order’s murder victims. Why didn’t the sight of the body bother me? Is the ring blocking the emotions? With little understanding of her situation, Ravyn didn’t know what she should do next.
