“Ravyn are you ready? Jason will be here any minute! We don’t want to miss our flight!” Jennie hurried into the bedroom.
Ravyn threw a bag strap over her shoulder and grabbed her two suitcases. “I’m ready. I don’t know why we didn’t charter a plane.”
“That’s an unnecessary expense.” Jennie kissed her cheek. “Just think. Two days from now we will be married.” Her eyes glittered with excitement.
With a nod, Ravyn led the way from the bedroom. “Too bad it won’t be recognized here in Michigan. Those jackasses in office don’t realize we have rights too.” She set the bags down next to Jennie’s four bags. “Did you remember to pack the kitchen sink?”
Jennie slapped her arm. “Very funny, love.” She put her arms around her. “I love you so much, Ravyn Wyng. Thank you for asking me to marry you.”
