Some Writing Tips for New Writers

  1. Sit at the computer or a desk.
  2. Write a paragraph to get started.
  3. Write a page as the story flows.
  4. Write every day.
  5. Join a great critique group like Writers World.
  6. Grow lizard skin.
  7. After 300 days of writing, you have a first draft.
  8. Revise, rewrite, and edit your work.
  9. Let beta readers read it for feedback.
  10. When you aren’t writing, read. Read good books and bad books. Learn from them.

About Anna Dobritt

Anna Dobritt is an independent eBook author and an indie publisher of RPG PDFs and fantasy maps through Cartography Unlimited for RPGs. She loves to read and write, and lives in Michigan. Anna enjoys watching Dr. Who, both the classic episodes from the 1960s-1980s and the current episodes.
