The Top 4 Myths Of Traditional Publishing

Last week I listed four of the more common myths surrounding Self Publishing. It wouldn’t be fair if I just left it at that, would it?

I hope to highlight some of the biggest myths surrounding the Tradition Publishing industry. Despite all the information out there, some people have pretty erroneous ideas regarding this topic.

Let’s jump right in!

“It’s A Slow, Outdated System”

This myth is mostly determined by your perspective. You’ll see it spread by indie-purists and people who, in some way, have been burned by the publishing industry (also by the occasional ignoramus). I can try to understand where these people are coming from, but I simply can’t agree with them.
